Location: Bowie, MD
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/Second Shift). Days not specified; schedule determined by facility
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
- Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Support social and emotional needs by engaging residents in friendly conversation and activities
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (or state equivalent) — the key credential for this role
- State-required nursing assistant registry listing if applicable in Maryland
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
- Compassionate attitude, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
- Previous experience caring for older adults is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Competence in assisting with ADLs and basic resident care
- Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively in a care team
