Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/Night)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting)
Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly
Support mealtime assistance and ensure comfort during meal service
Document care activities accurately and timely in the resident chart
Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with fellow caregivers and licensed staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification — show us your credentials
Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a certified GNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Basic infection control and safety practices
Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
