Location: Bowie, MD
Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days to be confirmed)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation using proper technique
- Take and record vital signs, report changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident observations
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure dignity during feeding and hydration
- Communicate effectively with the care team and residents' families to promote resident-centered care
- Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a safe, clean environment
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, respectful approach to elders
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care and common age-related conditions
- Skill in taking vital signs and recognizing changes in resident status
- Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Compassionate communication and teamwork
