Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support meal assistance and observe dietary needs and intake
Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly with nurses, families and the care team about resident status
Document care activities and observations in the resident record in a timely manner

Qualifications

GNA certification or equivalent is required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long term care or geriatric settings preferred
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care skills with attention to safety and dignity
Basic clinical knowledge of vital signs and infection control practices
Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers, following safe techniques
Good documentation practices and timely communication with the care team
Empathy, patience and the ability to build rapport with older adults
