Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams including peripheral arterial and venous Dopplers
- Conduct vein mapping procedures accurately to support clinical and surgical planning
- Operate Doppler ultrasound equipment with professionalism and attention to image quality
- Document findings clearly and communicate results effectively to the care team
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Adhere to clinic protocols, infection control, and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and staff to support excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience (required)
- Active ARDMS credentials (RDCS and RVT preferred/required documentation)
- RDCS or RVT certification and ARDMS documentation as requested
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Proven ability to perform vein mapping and peripheral arterial and venous Dopplers
- Strong work history with verifiable clinical ultrasound experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in vascular ultrasound and Doppler techniques
- Proficiency with vein mapping and peripheral arterial/venous imaging
- Familiarity with sonography equipment setup, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Good patient communication and positioning skills
- Attention to detail for accurate measurements and documentation
- Cardiac imaging experience is a plus and appreciated
