Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily nursing care to residents following established nursing care procedures
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and dignity
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to supervisors promptly
- Accurately document care, observations and interventions in resident records
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
- Support a safe, clean and respectful living environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- Comfortable working night shift hours (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Familiarity with long-term care best practices and resident-centered care
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction from supervisors
- Demonstrated reliability and a compassionate approach to resident care
Education
- CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and resident-focused bedside skills
- Resident care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Nursing care procedures and adherence to facility protocols
- Experience or comfort in a long-term care environment
