Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist residents with mobility and safe transfer techniques to promote independence
- Take and record vital signs, and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and thoroughly to keep the care team informed
- Support residents’ social and emotional needs — be a friendly, reassuring presence
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
Qualifications
- GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or able to obtain
- Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required immunizations
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful demeanor
Education
- GNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and resident-centered care
- Comfort with assisting residents with ADLs and mobility support
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and recognize changes
- Good charting and documentation habits
- Strong teamwork, time management, and observational skills
