Location: Baltimore, MD
Shift Type: Night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) NOC; specific days scheduled per facility needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident status, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Help with meal setup and feeding as needed, observing dietary instructions and resident preferences
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in resident records to support continuity of care
- Promote a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families and the care team to ensure person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification — required
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and teamwork mindset
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and activities of daily living
- Basic ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and charting
- Understanding of infection control, safety procedures and resident rights
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team
