Roles & Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs (height, weight, pulse oximetry) to support high-quality patient care
• Room patients and document history, medications, and allergies to prepare providers for visits
• Set up and assist with nebulizer treatments and other pulmonary-related procedures
• Administer immunizations and intramuscular injections safely and efficiently
• Collect and label specimens accurately for lab processing
• Prepare charts and complete office duties such as authorization forms and pharmacy calls
• Administer TB tests and follow up with phone calls to ensure continuity of care
• Stock supplies and maintain exam room readiness to keep clinic flow smooth

Qualifications

• MA-C (Medical Assistant - Certified) REQUIRED — MA-R and MA-P are not eligible
• Minimum 6 months experience in an adult outpatient clinic (0.5 year required; 1 year preferred)
• EPIC charting experience is REQUIRED
• BLS and CMA certifications are preferred
• Reliable transportation required; travelers must provide their own transportation
• Willingness to float to the Issaquah clinic occasionally as needed
• First-time travelers accepted — we welcome motivated candidates

Knowledge & Skills

• Charting in EPIC and chart preparation

• Nebulizer treatment set-up and assistance
• Specimen collection and specimen labeling

• Collaborating with Respiratory Services and interdisciplinary teams
