Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess K-5 students to identify speech and language needs and strengths
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans that make measurable impact
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies across settings
• Lead IEP meetings and maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress
• Provide consultative support to staff and coach classroom strategies for communication success
• Manage and prioritize a split caseload while ensuring high-quality services for every student

Qualifications

• State SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Colorado
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or working toward certification
• Experience with elementary-aged students (K-5) and school-based service delivery preferred
• Comfort collaborating in a multi-SLP building and co-managing shared caseloads
• Willingness to undergo required background checks and comply with facility guidelines

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills for articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic needs
• IEP development and progress monitoring with clear, measurable goals
• Techniques for push-in and pull-out therapy models in elementary classrooms
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills with educators and families
• Ability to manage documentation and caseload organization efficiently
• Knowledge of evidence-based pediatric speech and language interventions
