Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality telemetry nursing care for adult and geriatric patients on MS/Telemetry units
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Perform IV therapy, start and maintain IVs, manage central lines and PICCs with precision
• Provide pre/post hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis support for renal patients
• Respond effectively as part of rapid response and code teams when emergencies arise
• Manage respiratory supports including HFNC and tracheostomy care as needed
• Administer blood products and follow heparin protocols safely and accurately
• Document patient care in Epic and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years MS/Telemetry nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Travel nursing experience required; must meet traveler policies (system contract limits apply)
• Comfort working 1:5-6 patient ratios and floating between like units as needed
• Ability to work nights and every-other-weekend schedule
• Preferred: charge nurse experience, Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level II exposure
• Competence with dialysis care, wound care/Wound VAC, isolation precautions/PPE
