Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vitals, and intervene as needed
• Administer medications and treatments according to standards and orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery plans
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to providers
• Support safe patient transfers and transitions within the facility

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (NM licensure preferred or compact RN where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or available through employer
• Per diem or travel RN experience and comfort working overnight shifts preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Current immunizations and any required facility-specific clearances

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Electronic medical record documentation experience
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Ability to manage multiple patients and respond to emergencies
