Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Support nursing staff by taking vital signs and reporting changes in condition
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Document patient interactions and care activities accurately and timely
Collaborate with the care team to deliver patient-centered, respectful care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with patients
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and following care plans
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
Ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and safe patient handling
Familiarity with charting and basic documentation
Teamwork and a positive attitude when supporting interdisciplinary staff
Attention to detail and reliable time management
