Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor pediatric med-surg patients to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Provide compassionate, family-centered communication and education
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation and handoffs
- Participate in orientation and unit onboarding to uphold standards and safety
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) — title is explicit in the posting
- Experience or competency in Medical-Surgical and Pediatric patient care (Med/Surg, Peds)
- Orientation completion required as noted in the posting
- Current ability to meet state licensure requirements for California; confirm specifics with recruiter
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong pediatric assessment and med-surg clinical skills
- Medication administration and safe clinical practice
- Effective communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings
- Accurate clinical documentation and attention to detail
