Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to medical and behavioral health patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to orders
• Monitor patient status, document changes, and communicate concerns to the care team
• Support behavioral health interventions and de-escalation techniques when needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and follow individualized care plans
• Ensure safety and dignity of patients while maintaining compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
• Experience in medical and behavioral health settings preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to pass facility background and health screenings as required

Education

• LPN diploma or equivalent from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical assessment
• Behavioral health support and de-escalation strategies
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Patient safety, infection control, and basic emergency response
• Time management and prioritization during busy evening shifts
