Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document resident conditions and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers and safe patient handling to promote dignity and safety
• Support feeding, bathing, grooming and toileting while encouraging independence
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep patients safe
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Maintain accurate charting and complete required documentation in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (T-CNA classification noted)
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts on scheduled days (Sun, Thu, Fri)
• Ability to perform physical aspects of patient care and safe transfers
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable local transportation for a local contract assignment
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (if available, list on application)

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic nursing care and vital signs monitoring
• Assistance with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Clear, timely documentation and reporting
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and resident-focused care
