Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility needs
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
• Document patient care and observations clearly in the charting system
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Valid state CNA credential and ability to work in New Mexico
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtain upon hire if required
• Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and personal care
• Willingness to pass required background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Ability to take and record vital signs and communicate changes
• Familiarity with assisting patients with ADLs and mobility support
• Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
• Teamwork, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
