Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Document care accurately and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
Support the nursing team with tasks that keep patient care running smoothly

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-approved)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Proof of required immunizations and ability to pass background checks
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and safe patient transfers
Availability to work per diem shifts, including occasional short-notice needs

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and assistance with ADLs
Accurate vital sign measurement and observation skills
Infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
Basic clinical documentation and clear communication
Teamwork and collaboration with nurses and allied health staff
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
