Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and changes in condition accurately
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure excellent handoffs
• Treat patients and families with respect, dignity, and empathy at every interaction

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Availability to work night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced patient care setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient hygiene and basic personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting)
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Infection control principles and proper PPE use
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
