Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care that preserves dignity and comfort
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
• Document care activities clearly and maintain accurate patient records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Pitch in during admissions, discharges, and bedside support to keep care seamless

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; state eligibility or ability to obtain required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience as a CNA is a plus; new CNAs with strong skills are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and accept per diem scheduling
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and activities of daily living
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Accurate charting and documentation
• Teamwork, time management, and adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Compassionate communication with patients and families
