Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Support a positive patient experience by communicating respectfully and empathetically
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient goals

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA) — active and in good standing
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
• Pass criminal background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to follow facility policies and procedures

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and comfort with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and patient observation
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Accurate charting and clear communication with care team
• Infection control practices and proper PPE use
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
