Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly
• Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
• Document patient interactions and care provided in the medical record clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other care team members to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass facility background checks and standard health screenings
• Comfort working night shifts and in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe patient handling techniques
• Basic clinical skills such as taking vital signs and measuring intake/output
• Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
• Reliable documentation practices and basic comfort with electronic health records
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with good interpersonal skills
