Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for interventional radiology patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist the IR team during procedures, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs and sedation
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic to ensure continuity and compliance
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in occasional on-call coverage as part of the IR team

Qualifications

• Current California RN license (required)
• Experience working in Interventional Radiology (IR) or related procedural areas
• Epic experience within the last year required to pass the Epic pre-assessment
• Ability to work four 10-hour day shifts per week and take occasional call

Education

• Active California RN license (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record workflows and documentation
• Familiarity with interventional radiology procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills in procedural settings
• Clear communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Ability to prioritize, remain calm under pressure, and maintain patient safety
