Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients using the nursing process and implement individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Interpret diagnostic tests and communicate findings to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and their families
• Document care thoroughly and participate in charting and handoffs
• Engage in performance improvement activities to promote positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current California RN license (required)
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification, ACLS, and PALS (required)
• Experience in acute care nursing and comfort with 12-hour night shifts
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

• Nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and treatment implementation
• Interpreting diagnostic tests and recognizing changes in condition
