Shift Type: Day shift; 40 hours/week with every other weekend and rotating holidays. On-call rotation shared within the team (averages 3-4 days/month) and typically one weekend per month. Exact daily start/end times vary by facility.

Candidate Pay Rate: $61.2 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients using the nursing process and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer prescribed medications and dialysis treatments safely and according to policy
- Document patient care and clinical findings according to standards of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance
- Provide patient and family education to support continuity of care
- Use critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
- Offer clinical guidance to other units as needed to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license required prior to start
- BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to start
- Experience or background in acute dialysis / dialysis nursing preferred
- Comfort working day shift with every-other-weekend and rotating holiday coverage
- Strong documentation, critical thinking, and patient education skills
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (averages 3-4 days/month)
