Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams including X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Bone Density and Digital Mammography
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow radiation protection protocols for patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to obtain images that support fast, accurate diagnoses
• Prepare and position patients with compassion and clear communication, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and image records in PACS and other systems
• Assist with mobile PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine workflows as needed
• Participate in equipment quality control checks and report any issues promptly
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technology license required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Comfortable using multiple modalities including Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Digital Mammography
• Strong patient communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic techniques and cross-sectional imaging principles
• Experience with PACS and digital imaging workflows
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Ability to manage a varied imaging schedule and prioritize urgent exams
• Good clinical judgment for patient positioning and protocol selection
• Professional bedside manner and clear communication with patients and colleagues
