Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the unit—guide the team, set priorities, and ensure excellent patient care
- Oversee daily operations of the unit, including staffing, workflow, and patient flow
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care and advocate for patient-centered outcomes
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through coaching, feedback, and performance oversight
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Actively support bedside care when the unit requires additional hands-on coverage
- Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance safety and patient satisfaction
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in unit management or nursing leadership
- Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and stepping in to cover the floor
- Strong communication and team-building skills to lead a multidisciplinary staff
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain promptly
Education
- Nursing diploma, ADN, or BSN (ADN/BSN preferred)

- Unit management and clinical leadership
- Staff scheduling, delegation, and performance coaching
- Patient care coordination and safety-focused practices
- Clear documentation and regulatory compliance
- Conflict resolution and effective communication with patients, families, and staff
