Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem as scheduled, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (overnight 12.5-hour shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition
- Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team and families
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and daily living activities
- Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and mentor peers when appropriate
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license in New Mexico
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain promptly
- Current immunizations and TB screening as required by facility policy
- Comfortable working overnight 12.5-hour shifts on a per diem basis
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
- Background check and drug screen clearance as required by the employer
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in medication administration and wound care
- Clinical assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in condition
- Accurate and timely documentation practices
- Ability to work independently on assigned shifts and escalate concerns appropriately
- Familiarity with resident-centered care and long-term care routines
- Comfort using electronic charting systems or willingness to learn
