Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the assigned clinical area
Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and promptly report changes
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document care thoroughly and maintain clear patient records
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns to appropriate providers

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Mexico license or RN compact privilege preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Acute care experience preferred; recent clinical experience is a plus
Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Infection control practices and safety protocols
Time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings
