Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition regularly and create personalized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient responses and intervene promptly when changes occur
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize outcomes
• Provide compassionate patient and family education to promote recovery
• Document care thoroughly and timely in the medical record
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Advocate for patients’ needs and contribute to a positive healing environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred when applicable
• Previous nursing experience in rehab, long-term care, or acute care preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and adapt to per diem scheduling
• Current immunizations/PPD and the ability to pass background and health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with medication administration and IV therapy
• Familiarity with wound care and rehabilitation nursing principles
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients and interdisciplinary staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
