Shift Type: Per diem schedule, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight) NOC — Days: Per diem / as scheduled

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the assigned area
- Assess patient condition and develop timely nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Document patient care clearly and completely in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance
- Advocate for patient needs while maintaining a calm, professional bedside presence
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New Mexico (or compact RN licensure where applicable)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS or other specialty certifications preferred
- Clinical experience in acute care or related settings preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma or BSN)
- BSN preferred when available
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
- Strong prioritization and time-management in fast-paced settings
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Basic familiarity with common clinical equipment and safety protocols
