Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) while preserving dignity
• Monitor and document resident condition and report changes to the nursing team
• Collaborate closely with the rehab and nursing teams to support care plans
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean, safe environment
• Support efficient shift handoffs and clear communication with families and team members
• Contribute to a positive resident experience by offering respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Eligible to work in VT (travel assignment covers VT/NH area) and able to obtain any state-specific permits if needed
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing coverage every other weekend as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident care basics: ADLs, vital signs, and documentation
• Knowledge of infection control best practices
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident dignity
