Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using state-of-the-art CT equipment to support fast, accurate diagnoses
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately for CT procedures, ensuring patient comfort and dignity
• Operate CT scanner, select appropriate protocols, and optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• Follow established safety, infection control, and radiation protection policies at all times
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to communicate findings and support patient care
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record and manage imaging data within PACS systems
• Maintain equipment readiness by performing routine QC checks and coordinating with service teams when needed
• Support a positive patient experience by educating patients about procedures and addressing questions or concerns

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required
• Current ARRT CT credential required
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technology license required
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong patient care skills and commitment to safety and teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT scan techniques and cross-sectional imaging principles
• Solid understanding of radiologic technology best practices and radiation safety
• Comfortable with patient positioning, IV/contrast workflows, and monitoring during studies
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM image handling, and electronic medical record documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic QC checks
