Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Day) and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night); primarily night shift coverage available as well; rotation may include weekends as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and intervene promptly for changes in patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the United States or eligible for Hawaii licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Experience or strong interest in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and teamwork mindset
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility credentialing requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Medical-surgical nursing principles and post-operative care
- IV therapy, medication administration, and infusion management
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and documentation
- Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Prioritization, time management, and safe patient handling
