Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat cardiopulmonary patients across the lifespan using evidence-based techniques
- Deliver diagnostic respiratory care and therapies for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients
- Perform and interpret respiratory diagnostics, document findings and update care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide family-centered education and support for neonatal and pediatric respiratory needs
- Maintain competency with required certifications and follow hospital protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required
- Current Oregon Respiratory Care License required
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- ACLS, NRP and PALS required for GSR Respiratory Therapy roles
- Two (2) years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred
- Experience with neonatal and pediatric patients preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and cardiopulmonary care
- Experience with diagnostic patient care and respiratory testing
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for neonatal and pediatric populations
- Clear clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care environment
