Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat cardiopulmonary patients across the lifespan using evidence-based techniques
• Deliver diagnostic respiratory care and therapies for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients
• Perform and interpret respiratory diagnostics, document findings and update care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide family-centered education and support for neonatal and pediatric respiratory needs
• Maintain competency with required certifications and follow hospital protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required
• Current Oregon Respiratory Care License required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• ACLS, NRP and PALS required for GSR Respiratory Therapy roles
• Two (2) years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric patients preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and cardiopulmonary care
• Experience with diagnostic patient care and respiratory testing
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for neonatal and pediatric populations
• Clear clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care environment
