Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition promptly and accurately to ensure timely care decisions
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document each step clearly
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to create and follow individualized care plans
- Perform skilled nursing tasks including wound care, dressing changes and routine assessments
- Document patient progress, nursing interventions and clinical observations in the chart
- Educate patients and families about conditions, medications and discharge plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control standards
- Act as a dependable resource and advocate for patients during each shift
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (or eligibility to obtain New Hampshire RN licensure prior to start)
- LPN candidates considered if aligned with facility needs (license required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Travel nursing experience preferred but motivated new travel nurses are welcome
- Must be able to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to new clinical settings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN or accredited LPN program depending on role)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy competency
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
- Patient-centered care and strong bedside manner
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
- Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
