Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition promptly and accurately to ensure timely care decisions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document each step clearly
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to create and follow individualized care plans
• Perform skilled nursing tasks including wound care, dressing changes and routine assessments
• Document patient progress, nursing interventions and clinical observations in the chart
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications and discharge plans
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control standards
• Act as a dependable resource and advocate for patients during each shift

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (or eligibility to obtain New Hampshire RN licensure prior to start)
• LPN candidates considered if aligned with facility needs (license required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Travel nursing experience preferred but motivated new travel nurses are welcome
• Must be able to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to new clinical settings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN or accredited LPN program depending on role)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Patient-centered care and strong bedside manner
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
