Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (night shift; days not specified)

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a rehab setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess patient status, document changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
Assist with ADLs and support residents’ mobility and comfort
Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to implement care plans
Maintain accurate charts and complete timely clinical documentation
Support infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for residents

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or compact-state equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (current)
Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment, ability to manage multiple priorities during night shifts
Clear background checks and required facility onboarding completed

Education

LPN diploma, certificate, or vocational nursing program completion
Current LPN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and monitoring
Wound care basics and dressing changes
Resident assessment and vital signs monitoring
Electronic medical record (EMR) charting and documentation
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with rehab-focused care and safety protocols
