Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, helping maintain dignity and comfort
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and observe changes in condition, reporting concerns to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with residents, families, and the care team
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable transportation required (local only); rideshare services like Uber are NOT acceptable per facility notes
• Ability to work the posted day shift hours (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Comfortable working in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and good communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with personal care and activities of daily living
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Familiarity with electronic or paper charting and documentation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for resident-focused care
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
