Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and daily support to patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor, assess, and document changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Maintain clear, timely electronic health record documentation
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Cover assigned every-other-weekend shifts and contribute to a reliable schedule

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice (Pennsylvania license expected for this location)
• Weekend availability with every-other-weekend coverage required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfort working night shifts and in an acute/long-term care environment
• Ability to pass standard background check and drug screen as required

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Accurate electronic charting and documentation
• Infection prevention practices and safe patient handling
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork under busy conditions
