Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient status and promptly report changes to the clinical team
- Support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care with clear communication
- Educate patients and families about care, medications, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain infection control standards and a safe care environment
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain promptly
- Demonstrated clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
Education
- LPN diploma or practical nursing certificate
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and practical nursing procedures
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Strong patient assessment and medication administration skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
- Good time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of infection control and safety best practices
