Shift Type: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each shift
Administer medications and perform clinical treatments safely and accurately
Assess and monitor patient status, promptly reporting changes to the care team
Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely records
Collaborate with nurses, therapists and providers to deliver coordinated care
Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Contribute to smooth shift handoffs and clear communication across the team

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Maine (must be active and in good standing)
Willingness and ability to work the required weekend schedule: Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) and sustaining a 36-hour weekly cadence
Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and vital sign monitoring skills
Competency in medication administration and documentation
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Clear communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
Time management and prioritization during busy 12-hour shifts
Basic wound care and safe clinical practice skills
