Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure accurate patient positioning
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely imaging results
- Document procedures and imaging data accurately in EPIC and radiology systems
- Maintain equipment readiness and report any technical issues promptly
- Provide clear patient education and compassionate care, especially at high elevation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required)
- ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — may be obtained upon hire
- Experience or registration in additional imaging modalities preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Able to safely function in a high-altitude, low-oxygen environment (approx. 8,000 ft)
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficient patient positioning and radiation safety practices
- Familiarity with EPIC and radiology documentation workflows
- Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication skills and the ability to reassure patients
