Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a licensed practical nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the care team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses with clarity
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to create great care plans
- Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and smooth transitions of care
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in North Carolina (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work the evening 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shift reliably
Education
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of medication administration and patient assessment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear clinical documentation
- Basic wound care and vital signs monitoring
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Good prioritization and time management during busy shifts
