Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients and families
• Assess patient status, monitor changes, and communicate findings to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions clearly and timely
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and family coaching to improve outcomes
• Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible or current RN licensure required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred or supported
• Prior acute care nursing experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to inquire
• Current, up-to-date vaccinations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and clinical judgment skills for inpatient care
• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) documentation and charting
• Medication administration knowledge and safe practice standards
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and respond effectively in urgent situations
• Patient- and family-centered care approach with strong interpersonal skills
