Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents: assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Take and accurately document vital signs and patient observations
• Support safe mobility and transfers while maintaining dignity and comfort
• Communicate meaningful changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation in resident records
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and coworkers
• Be a dependable team player who helps create a calm, respectful environment for recovery

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential valid in Vermont
• Reliable transportation (LOCAL ONLY position — facility requires you to commute)
• Availability to work nights and every other weekend as required
• Comfortable working a 16-week local contract assignment (02/09/2026 - 05/25/2026)
• Positive attitude, dependability, and a patient-first mindset

Education

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant (LNA) program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfort with personal care tasks and assisting with activities of daily living
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observing patient status
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Reliable documentation practices and attention to detail
• Time management skills for an active night-shift environment
