Shift Type: Days: To be confirmed; 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift (12.5-hour shift, 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and/or older adult populations
- Assess patient condition, develop nursing plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Identify and escalate changes in patient condition to ensure timely interventions
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive unit culture
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or a valid multistate compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
- Current clinical experience in acute care settings is preferred
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong clinical judgment, good documentation habits, and teamwork mindset
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid assessment and critical thinking skills for acute care
- Medication administration and IV therapy competence
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members
- Time management, prioritization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Patient education and discharge planning skills
