Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered Med/Surg nursing care to adults
• Assess, monitor and document patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with orders
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Lead effective handoffs and ensure clear communication across shift changes
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions and follow-up
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic charting and compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing (be ready to practice in GA)
• Clinical Med/Surg experience preferred
• Current BLS required; ACLS or other certifications as applicable or preferred
• Strong assessment, prioritization and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork mindset
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed and perform bedside nursing tasks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid Med/Surg clinical knowledge and best-practice nursing skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Patient assessment and triage skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Professionalism, critical thinking and situational awareness
