Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with patient intake, vitals, and documentation in an ambulatory setting
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready for patient visits
Collect and accurately record patient histories and medication information
Perform point-of-care testing and basic clinical procedures per protocol
Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and next steps
Coordinate with team members and administrative staff to maintain smooth clinic flow
Maintain accurate electronic health record entries and follow clinic protocols

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent credential preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification required or must be obtained upon hire
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary MA program preferred
Comfortable working in an ambulatory/clinic environment and supporting a busy schedule
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered demeanor
Previous ambulatory clinical experience preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with vital signs measurement and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and accurate charting
Good multitasking and time management in a fast-paced clinic
Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork
Basic point-of-care testing knowledge and specimen handling
