Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 5-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed) — Shift Type: RT. Orientation included.

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality respiratory care and therapeutic treatments to patients with compassion and clinical precision
Assess respiratory status and monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans in collaboration with the care team
Operate, troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment and ventilators safely
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately and promptly
Participate actively in orientation and training to ensure consistent, excellent patient care
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff to coordinate patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current Washington state Respiratory Therapist licensure (required)
Credentialed (CRT or RRT) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications encouraged
Clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical training welcome
Ability to pass facility onboarding and orientation

Education

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (or equivalent clinical training)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of respiratory assessment and therapeutic modalities
Experience with ventilator management and respiratory equipment
Good clinical documentation and charting skills
Solid teamwork and communication skills in a multidisciplinary setting
Infection control practices and patient safety focus
