Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 05-10-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (LPN role)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care following facility policies and care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document accordingly
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team promptly
Assist with daily living activities to promote comfort and dignity
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Support a positive, team-focused environment and mentor less-experienced staff when appropriate

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license in Pennsylvania or compact license as applicable
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of medication administration and nursing documentation
Skilled in basic clinical assessments and vital sign monitoring
Familiarity with infection control practices and safety procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
